Our Story

Most of the families work in the quarry as daily laborers in this village, and their children and work with them or stay back in the house. The Pastor and his wife are very dedicated to develop this area, so that when they approached in this regard, we the Bethanya was very happily welcomed and started the Children’s Development Program , the result is there are few children’s got their graduation and few children’s are in higher studies.

This Thiruneermalai is a panchayat town in Chennai in Kancheepuram district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. This place is very close to Chennai city (4 km from Pallavaram GST road).

Thiruneermalai is popular for Sri Ranganathar Perumal Temple on a hill and down on sri neervanna perumal. From the top of the hill, one can view the entire Pallavaram area. The temple is one of the 108 divyadesams.

Thiruneermalai area is one of the 163 notified areas (megalithic sites) in the state of Tamil Nadu.

About Quarry Children’s Home

Established in 2018, currently provides housing for 50 children. Headed by a local pastor with support by two teachers and a chef.
